Ram Dass Ashville Satsang

Join us for Hanuman Jayanti on May 10, 2025 from 4-7PM at Hanuman Healing Sanctuary located in North Asheville. This satsang experience will feature the teachings of Neem Karoli Baba Maharajji, Ram Dass, and Hanumanji. We are excited to gather together in the heart space of the Hanuman temple. Satsangs are free events and all are welcome.

The satsang experience will express in different ways with the hope to represent and include all interests and walks of life. Sometimes we will review source materials and have a hearty discussion, and other times we will focus around chant , sacred rituals of aarti and prasadam (sharing sacred food.) Meditation, pranayama, asana, and healing circles are other expressions of satsang gatherings at Hanuman Healing Sanctuary. Seva (selfless service) is an important aspect of each and every satsang experience, it’s the root of our yoga path of Bhakti.

If satsang is new to you. No problem. Please allow yourself to be a beginner, take a leap of courage like Hanumanji, and we will guide you as your satsang sister or brother. Satsang is also a space to get to know each other and share in a relaxed way. Literally it is a gathering of spiritual friends on the path of truth, a space where we come together in love, devotion, and shared spiritual inquiry.
