Join us for a deeply peaceful and heart-centering retreat in an exquisite Himalayan valley Ashram. We will immerse ourselves in yoga, kirtan, meditation and dharma with guided tours to Neem Karoli Baba’s temples and holy sites. Accommodations are simple and lovely, with delicious vegetarian food, all set amidst breathtaking views in an extraordinary natural setting.

Many years ago, after I was first introduced to Neem Karoli Baba (Maharajji) through Ram Dass and Krishna Das, and I was told that I must go to India. So I did, and I found myself in the Himalayan region known as Deva Bhumi or the Land of the Gods. It is where Ram Dass first met Neem Karoli Baba and where he went through his yogic training in the holy places of that region.

It became deeply meaningful to me to go to the actual places where Ram Dass met and spent time with Maharajji – to experience for myself what I had only heard about in stories. This was a journey into the heart and soul of this land, it’s people and most of all the essence that Ram Dass received through of the grace of Maharajji.

Himalayan Yoga Yatra General Itinerary:

• 12-day Himalayan Yatra Yoga Immersion with Saraswati & friends, including daily yoga, chanting, chai, workshops, rest, kirtan, meditation, day trips to holy sites, and satsang.
• Meet on the evening of October 21 2026 at Sri Aurobindo Ashram Delhi branch and stay for 2 nights.
• Spend most of the next day making our way by car/train up to the mountains of Deva Bhumi,to Madhuban ashram, a breathtaking garden sanctuary, and our home for satsang, seva, and sadhana the next 10 days.
• Day trips that echo the steps of Ram Dass to Hanumanghar, Bhumiadhar, Kainchi, Kakrighat, Nainital and the Evelyn Hotel, Mukteshwar and more.
• Spend time doing seva with the kids at the local village school Madhuban has adopted.
• KK Sah’s teachings on how to find bhav and the Bhakti path.
• Saraswati shares essential Ram Dass teachings; selected topics include –Cultivating Loving Awareness, Planes of Consciousness, Karma, Relationships, The Soul, Suffering, Purification and Methods.
• Pintu shares the way to connect to India and Maharajji. Guides the way to seva.
• Yoga asana, meditation, and Gayatri mantra sadhana fill the mornings.
• Avi shares stories about the temples and dieties.
• Nightly kirtan with Harinaam Das & friends.
• Sudama shares the Samadhi Marg from the source.
• Nature walks in the Kumoan mountain.s
• Indian cooking class and adopting a yogi lifestyle.
• Return to Sri Aurobindo Ashram October 31st, 2026, Delhi Branch, stay overnight, and closing circle from 9-11am the next morning.

Shortly after paying your deposit, you will receive a confirmation email. Additionally, you with receive an email containing 4 forms to complete and return to finalize your reservation. A comprehensive welcome packet containing detailed information about travel itinerary, accommodations, health and safety, weather, travel documents, and packing list will follow. We will support you through the process of getting an Indian tourist visa, and any questions you may have along the way.

Payment Details
Initial deposit is $500 to reserve your spot and is non-refundable. Full payment is appreciated by July 16th, 2026. After July 16th, 2026 all payments are non-refundable. Absolutely no exceptions.
